Secret Santa time!

ALEX Favorite movie is 500 Days of Summer. Favorite show is Glee or The Mentalist. "Happiness is a journey, not a destination". Favorite style is Jazz. Favorite Ensemble dance is "Barry, Gary, and Larry's Fabulous Hair Emporium". Favorite Ensemble Moments: Winning the Odyssey award twice! Also, when Erin Duffey accepted the "Schlomo" award and couldn't tell Wes what the dance was about. I hope that we will become stronger dancers and a stronger team this year. Thank you to my mother for always supporting me and being the best!	ANGELA I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. Favorite movie is Drop Dead Gorgeous. Favorite styles are Lyrical and Jazz. Favorite dance was "Istanbul not Constantinople". Favorite Ensemble moment was when "Trash to Treasure" won the Entertainment Challenge! And doing Zumba with the team on Saturdays. Favorite food is Chinese food. I hope to be extremely united and even better than last year's team - and to get 16 dances in the Quest for the Best - and not come in SIXTH (!) in senior small groups. I'd like to thank my family for always supporting and encouraging me in whatever I do.	BROOKE I enjoy dancing, summer, the beach, baking and fruit snacks. I dislike winter/snow and Halloween. Favorite movies are A Walk to Remember and The Proposal. Favorite style is Tap. Favorite dance ever was "O Pioneers!." Favorite Ensemble moment was getting into the Entertainment Challenge with "Shipwrecked" in 8th grade... and winning even after all the competitive glares we got beforehand in the hallway. I hope to have a successful year while having fun and keep a positive attitude no matter the circumstance.
CLAUDIA I like yellow, milk, steak, candy and dance! Favorite movie is Finding Nemo. "It's one small step for man, it's one giant leap for mankind." Tap is my favorite. "Istanbul, Not Constantinople" was my favorite dance ever. Favorite moment was being the farmer in the midst of aliens -- and being "The Duke." I also enjoy field hockey and tennis. I plan to become a better dancer by getting my splits down and mastering triple turns. I'd like to thank my mother.	EMMA I like to dance, the colors blue and purple, playing soccer and eating candy. Favorite movie, Stick it. Favorite saying:"Don't Quit." Jazz is my favorite style. "Whip It" my favorite dance. Other interests include tennis and pizza. My hopes for this season: to become a better dancer -- becoming more flexible and more expressive. I wish to thank my Mom and Dad. Also, my sister helps me a lot in dance.	ERIN I like Disney music and food. Dislike mornings, smelly things/people and feet. Favorite movies are The Hangover and The Notebook. Favorite style of dance is Musical Theatre. Favorite dance has been "King of Spain." Favorite moment has been "Shirts off girls, it's time to get serious." My hopes are to be successful and UNITED as one team! ERIN I like dance, friends, music and laughing. Dislike clowns, cats and shots. Favorite movie is Dance Flick and favorite TV show is 24. "If you live to be 100, I want to live to be 100 minus one day, so I never have to live without you." Musical Theatre is my favorite style. Favorite dance ever: "Heck, I'd Go!." Favorite Ensemble moment was when "Desperate For A Dog" won the Entertainment Challenge. I hope to do extremely well in competitions and keep the team drama-free! I plan to help this by always trying my hardest and being focused. Thank you to my family and friends for supporting me.	ERIN What do I like? Dance!!! I dislike Math and like English and Latin in school. I also like tennis. My favorite movie is Mamma Mia and my favorite TV show is So You Think You Can Dance. "A smile improves your face value". StarQuest Providence 2009 is my fondest Ensemble memory - the nicest hotel - and "Doctors' Orders" got its first Platinum - and the Providence Place Mall! Great weekend!!! My favorite color is Purple. Favorite food is a Greek salad from Panera. My goal this season: to be very successful in small groups and perform with a lot of intensity and I will practice hard!!! Thank you to my parents for letting me audition and my friends for supporting me. I am so excited for Ensemble 2010. #10 Rules!	ERIN I love to dance, run, going boating and relaxing at the beach. Favorite moment was "Shirts off girls, it's time to get serious." Favorite food is ice cream. My hope for this year is that we bring home all the big trophies and mesh even better as a team. I will act as a better role model for the lil' kids and push myself to work harder and stay focused. Thanks to my parents, especially crazy Carol, and to my Nanny and Pop-Pop. GABI I like dance, music and friends. I dislike homework but I have to do it. Favorite movies are Grease and The Sound of Music. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, its learning to dance in the rain." Musical Theatre is my favorite style. "Desperate For A Dog" my favorite dance. My favorite Ensemble moment was making the team my first year when I was in 5th grade. I love the Ensemble Scavenger Hunt! I can't wait for it! I want to become a stronger dancer, I plan to work hard this season. Thanks to my parents for supporting me, to Tim and Michelle for everything, and to my sister Grace for always being there. I love dance. Pumped for the season to start!	GRACE I like dance, music, writing, reading, fashion and California. Dislike homework and country music. Favorite TV shows are 24 and Degrassi. "Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit; and resign yourself to the influences of each." Favorite styles are Jazz, Modern, and Ballet. Favorite dances have been "Mud Feet" and "Uncle Schlomo is Dead." Favorite moment, California Nationals 2008. Favorite poem is "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost, favorite band Blink-182. I hope to become friends with all the new team members I don't know yet and to push myself super hard to be a really good dancer. To make this happen I will work on improving critiques I receive, pay close attention to all details and concentrate very hard. I'd like to thank Tim and Michelle for basically everything: making me a stronger dancer and person; also, for accepting me to be part of the Ensemble team. I'm also very happy that I was the given the opportunity to help teach at the studio. I am UBERPUMPED for this season!!!	HANNAH Favorite TV show is Lost. "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it". Favorite style is Jazz. Favorite dance has been "The Godfather". Favorite Ensemble moment was when "King of Spain" got a 298/300. Favorite food is pasta. I hope that we can work better as a team. I'll make this happen by becoming closer with everyone.
ISABEL I like to laugh, travel and adventure. I dislike snakes, spiders, rodents and horror movies. My favorite movie is any of the Harry Potter movies. My favorite TV show is Wizards of Waverly Place. "My bad". My favorite style of dance is musical theatre. My favorite Dance Carousel dance is "Fortune Tellers". My favorite Ensemble moments so far is the day I made Ensemble. My other favorite things are animals, Disney, and spending time with family and friends. I hope to make new friends with all my team members by being social and a team player. I'd like to thank my parents for always being there for me and supporting me.	JENNA Likes dogs, dance, guitar and watching movies on rainy days. Dislikes most meats, clowns and bugs! I love Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway, Glee and So You Think You Can Dance. "It is not about the number of breaths you take, it is about the number of moments that take your breath away". My favorite style of dance is Tap, sometimes Jazz. I loved "Desperate for a Dog" and "Pioneers". There have been so many great moments! I love the smell of pavement after rain. My favorite colors are green, blue, and yellow. I would like to make atleast one of the junior dances that we have to try-out for. In order to do this, I will have to work hard and try my best. I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to do Ensemble, and especially my mom for coming with me to the competitions. I hope we have a great year in Ensemble! JULIA Likes dancing, field hockey, fruit, music and running. Dislikes show-offs, smell of peanuts and tree nuts. favorite TV show is The Office. "Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's going to be my year". Favorite styles are Jazz and Tap. Favorite Ensemble dance was "Blackberry". Winning the Senior Odyssey award with "Blackberry". Hopes are to have a team that's more like a family that does well in competition. Mom and Dad for paying and driving and supporting me. My family and friends for support. Tim and Michelle for everything they do.	JULIANNA I thoroughly enjoy baking, dancing and listening to music. I dislike rides, clowns and heights. Favorite TV show is What I Like About You. Favorite movie is The Grinch. "Love is patient, love is kind...it always protects, always trusts, always hopes...love never fails". Favorite style is Jazz. Favorite dance has been "Istanbul not Constantinople". Favorite Ensemble moments have been the scavenger hunts. I hope that we do the BEST we can! And have tons of fun, especially for the senior's last year! I'd like to thank my mom for always being there.	JULIE I love puppies and candy. I really hate snakes. KATIE Likes chocolate, summer, moon bounces and Lobster. Dislikes scary movies, Chinese food and gym class. Favorite movie is Little Mermaid and favorite TV show is America's Funniest Home Videos. Tap. Favorite Ensemble dances are "Such Sweet Sorrow" and "Sophisticated Boom Boom". Favorite Ensemble moment was when "Mud Feet" won the Odyssey award and "Desperate for a Dog" won the Entertainment Challenge. My friends are my favorite and the Scavenger Hunt is my favorite day of the Ensemble season. I hope to get to know all the new members and I plan on making this happen by not just staying and talking with my old group and talking and helping with the new members. My mom and and dad for paying my tuition and for taking me to competitions. My favorite color is yellow.	KELLY I like sports. I don't like being bored. Survivor. "Live, Laugh, Love". "That's the way the cookie crumbles". Jazz and Hip Hop. I loved "Fortune Tellers" and "The President's Song". Never had one! My first year. My hopes are to become a better dancer. I plan to do that by practicing! Family for supporting me.	KERRY Likes hanging out with friends, the beach and pasta. Dislikes airplanes and spiders. Favorite TV shows are Lost and The Office. "If we all did the things we are really capable of doing we would literally astound ourselves". Favorite styles are Jazz and Lyrical. My hopes are to be active and work hard, stay focused and be successful. I'll be more focused at practice and give 110%. I'd like to thank my mom. I'm excited for this year!
LAUREN Likes the beach, summer, roller coasters and dance! Dislikes snow, airplanes and Halloween. Favorite movie is The Proposal. Favorite TV show is The Office. Favorite style is Tap. Favorite dance has been "The Godfather". Favorite moment was winning the Odyssey award in 6th grade for the first time. Favorite board game is Life. I hope that we have a very fun and successful year and that we all keep a positive attitude throughout the season.	LEXIE I love dance, pigs, Taylor Swift and cinnamon rolls. I hate bugs, clowns, mice, elevators and hornets. Twilight and Wizards of Waverly Place. "The best things in life aren't things". Musical Theatre. "Desperate for a Dog". At Nationals, before you go on, when you get butterflies. I love pigs and Taylor Swift. I hope that all of the DCE dances get high golds and platinums. Tim, Michelle and my parents.	LIZ I love to dance and be with my friends and I don't like spiders and scissors. America's Next Top Model. Jazz/Musical Theatre. Favorite Ensemble dance is "Fortune Tellers". Favorite Ensemble moment was making the team my first year. I also like to play basketball. I am hoping for everyone to get along and I will make that happen by being nice to everybody. "Barry, Gary and Larry's Fabulous Hair Emporium". My favorite Ensemble moment was winning the Odyssey award for Blackberry. My favorite season is summer! My hopes for this year are to improve my flexibility and expand my range of expressions. I will do this by working hard to improve and using my creativity. I'd like to thank my parents for supporting everything I choose to do and always being there for me.	MADISON dances.	MARGARET I like to dance, sing and run. I also like to listen to all types of music and read. I'm not a big fan of school. Favorite movie is Finding Nemo or The Notebook. Favorite TV show is That 70s Show. "When life gives you lemons make lemonade". Favorite stye of dance is modern or lyrical. Favorite Ensemble dances were "King of Spain", "Extreme Home Makeover" and "Cola Wars". Favorite moment was making up the "Blackberry" pump up dance. I hope to become a much better dancer by practicing and always keeping a positive attitude. MEAGHAN I like Milky Ways and dislike spiders. Aliens in The Attic is my favorite movie. "Peace, Love, Pebbles and Bam-Bam" is favorite saying. Favorite dance style, Jazz. "Mud Feet" and "Desperate For A Dog" are my favorite Ensemble dances from the past. Learning my first Ensemble dance has been so exciting!	MELANIE I like Italian food and long walks on the beach. I don't like rude people. Favorite movie is Aladdin. Favorite TV show is For the Love of Ray-J. "If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it". Favorite style is Jazz. Favorite dance has been "Fantastic Plastic World". Favorite Ensemble moment has been all of the Entertainment Challenges. I hope that we can be a better team both in dancing and teamwork.	MELISSA Loves ice cream, hanging out with my friends, singing and dancing, Hates sports, math and country music. Favorite movie is The Notebook. Favorite style is Contemporary/Lyrical. Favorite dances ever have been "Cola Wars" and "Snow Babies". Favorite Ensemble moment was getting a 298 for King Of Spain at nationals 2007. I hoping Ensemble will be more of a team and we do  more team building things. I am hoping to propose things like pasta parties, big sister/little sister, and T-shirt making. I'd like to thank my best friend for always being there for me, my parents for giving me everything I've ever had and ever needed.
MICKEY I like performing. I dislike airplanes. My favorite movie is Up. "Oh snap!" Tap. I don't know, but so far I like "Psycho". My favorite Broadway show is Shrek the Musical. MOLLY Likes skiing, pasta, hanging out with friends and DANCING!. Dislikes guns, clowns and scary movies. Favorite movies are Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama. Favorite TV show is American Idol. My favorite numbers are 12, 13, and 2. Physically- double turn and all splits = practice. Mentally- Best year of my life = coming into dance with a good attitude and a smile! My family, friends and Olivia for giving me the courage to try out. I'm a vegetarian.	MOLLY I love scary movies, cherry Coke, good friends and dancing. I do not like reading. My favorite Ensemble moment was when "Desperate for a Dog" won the Entertainment Challenge. My favorite dance competition is StarQuest. My hopes are that we will all be as close as we were last year and we do great in competitions. But I really want us to just try our hardest. I would like to thank my mom and dad for supporting me. NIKKI Likes dancing, being with friends and being with family. Dislikes throw-up, spiders and homework/studying. Favorite movie is Stomp the Yard and favorite TV shows are Gossip Girl and So You Think You Can Dance. Favorite styles are Jazz and Lyrical. Favorite dance was "The Godfather". My hope is that we will dominate... and we're gonna. I'm going to try my hardest every practice. I'd like to thank my parents for driving me to dance almost everyday and paying for it.	OLIVIA Likes skiing, art and food. Dislikes elevators, haunted houses, cats and fingers going down a chalkboard. Favorite movie is Edward Sissorhands. Favorite TV show is Project Runway. RACHEL I like hanging out with friends on the weekend and I love rock climbing. I strongly dislike school and everything involved with it. Favorite TV show is Jon and Kate Plus 8. "Do what you like, like what you do". Favorite style is Tap. Favorite dance was "Red Hat Society". Favorite Ensemble moment was before "King of Spain" Tim said, "Shirts off girls, it's time to get serious". The expression of the lady walking by was priceless. My hopes are that the team is successful on and off the stage. I will try my hardest and avoid conflicts between dancers. I'd like to thank my mom for always supporting me in everything I do.	ROSE I like to play outside and eat candy. I don't like airplanes, movie theaters and roller coasters. Phineas and Ferb. "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for country." Jazz. "Fortune Tellers" My favorite Ensemble moment was when I made the team. Spending time with family. My hopes for this team is to have the best dances. I will help by giving everything I got. My Mom and Dad for allowing me to audition for dance team.	SAMANTHA Likes calzones, snow days and amateur arts and crafts. Dislikes wet jeans, bug bites and awkward relationships. Favorite TV show is Cash Cab. "If you have to ask, you'll never know". Favorite styles are Jazz and Hip Hop. Favorite dance was "Istanbul not Constantinople". Favorite Ensemble moment was seeing Tim in the women's bathroom and the 99. My hope is that we have fun and are still able to be thought of as really good competition by other teams (intimidation without the track suits). I'd like to thank Angela Skeiber for being my rock. SARAH Likes animals, my family and friends. Dislikes spiders and strong winds. Twilight is my favorite movie. "If you feel like you can't do something, try harder". Tap. "Desperate for a Dog". Being on stage and looking out at the crowd. I also like the end of the dance when you feel so proud of yourself. I hope to improve as a dancer by trying my hardest. My family for letting me be able to dance. Also, Tim and Michelle for having me on the dance team.	SAVANNAH Likes monkeys, organization/neatness and earrings. Dislikes tomatoes, spiders and big trucks passing by. Favorite movies are P.S. I Love You and The Notebook. "Work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody is watching" and "Follow your compass". Musical Theatre/ Contemporary. "Mr. 5 by 5" and "Heck I'd Go". Favorite Ensemble moment was winning the Odyssey award for "Mud Feet". Favorite smells are rain on pavement, burning leaves, and new Abercrombie clothes. Favorite books are So B. It and The Outsiders. I hope to finish all of our dances in a short amount of time. To do this we will have to work hard and practice. I want to thank my parents for running Ensemble and my friends for making Ensemble even more enjoyable to be in.	SOPHIA I like staying up late, being on stage, being positive and scary movies. I dislike chocolate, rap music, pessimists and coyotes. I like all movies. Cake Boss. A lot of group rehersals that go really late. I love staying up late. I hope to improve a lot from last year and get my splits down. I will do that by working on overted splits a lot. Favorite Ensemble moment was getting ready for "Fortune Tellers" by dancing to Jai Ho. I hope we have a successful year, and I hope we have fun while doing it.
